Alex Davis discovered this wily fellow hiding on the lid of his nephew's wooden shapes box!















Patrina made this fun image! She says, "The skull was actually drawn hastily on a post-it note with White-Out Correction Tape and then scanned into photoshop elements. It was fun. Thanks for inspiring me."

Did you see the second (simulacra)skull in the lower left of the image from Cordoba, Spain? Bonus!

I saw that too, Nigel! I didn't notice it until I was clicking the back button from the enlarged image and went back because I thought I saw a second skull. Sure enough, there it was!

Noah, in regards to the 21-gun salute, sorry to have to get so picky, but that's actually a 42-gun salute. Each X is formed by crossing of two rifles. There are 21 Xs, and thus 42 guns.
